Introducing Chef Carl Drake!

Carl has had an exciting career that has taken him to some of Philadelphia’s most prestigious restaurants. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Carl worked at Le Bec Fin, La Terasse, Opus 251 and was the Executive Chef at Bacchus Market & Catering.

In 2003 Carl opened Drake’s Gourmet Food and Catering. He has catered intimate dinners for 20, casual Hors d’Oeuvres parties for 50 and larger parties for up to 200 guests

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Carl attended Chestnut Hill Academy and began his cooking career at Chestnut Hill’s Pollo Rosso restaurant as a cook under Chef Amy Edelman. As owner of the Night Kitchen Bakery and Cafe, Amy is excited to work with Carl once again!

As the Night Kitchen’s Catering Chef, Carl will be expanding upon the current menu as well as offering full service catering.
